'Fine' has a very summery, laid back atmosphere created by the various acoustic instruments backing up the vocals.  It is the vocals that hit you the most as Clara has a very distinctive sound and cannot be pigeon holed as sounding like anyone else really.  Her vocals are strong and give the song its power. Everything is absolutely exquisite about her sound.

'Heart Attack' has a simple, yet beautiful construction.  Acoustic guitar and piano create the main backdrop to the chilling vocals.  Clara really wears her heart on her sleeve with this number and you can hear the emotions coming through in the words.  Its a melancholic song, yet is something most people can relate too.

Piano leads, guitar accompanies, drums join in, followed by the vocals in 'Quiet'.  Its like carefully unwrapping a package.  This song is a real builder, with a faster pace; it gets stronger as it goes.  Cello is introduced and goes wonderfully well with the tonality of Claras voice.  The sound is more emphatic and dramatic than the first two numbers.

'My Body is a Diary' sees the sound returning to a more naked, simple state.  Again there is plenty of emotion to the sound, which is basically a guitar alongside Clara's haunting vocals.  The song is about keeping things locked up inside, the sort of things most people would vent about in a diary.  There is a certain power to the song again mainly being provided by the vocals.

I absolutely love these tunes; theyre mellow, laid back and beautiful. Clara has such a voice and the sound is different from whats out there to listen to at the moment! I would definitely buy an album to hear more tracks! I love when you get songs that sound different but its even better when the one singing them has such a beautifully unique voice to sing them to you!!
